What we are doing to the guesthouse

Here are some pictures of what is going on at the guesthouse. We started in April this year (2009) and looking to finish by end September... he he. The roof is off, the three extra rooms at the back are fully operating and the old rooms are non existent. But we are getting excited for the new look.

Oh Summer

What a summer we are having.


Sun, blue sky, sweat dripping down the brow… it’s wonderful. The temperature this week has been consistently some where in the 30’s but our rose garden is starting to take strain with no rain. Some good typical Joburg cumulus clouds are building on the horizon but I still don’t think it will bring the long awaited rain today… but on the other hand, four fingers and a thumb, it might.


Anyone wanting some sunshine? I'm willing to package it for a good deal.. special price.
